Joe Williams was born in Greeley, Colorado in 1985. He has one brother, Dan, who is a doctor in Indianapolis, Indiana.
When Joe was growing up he was very active in baseball and hockey. As he grew older his interests in sports remained, but he also became very interested in electronics. He taught himself how to build computers and continues that hobby today.
After graduating from Greeley Central high school, he attended Colorado State University for undergrad, where he majored in Political Science. He lived directly across the street from the Hughes Stadium, and enjoyed the easy access to the Rams football games. After graduating from CSU he attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. There he immersed himself in Drake’s nationally recognized practical programs. He gained valuable trial experience and was able to experience a wide variety of practice areas. Joe also worked for a highly respected personal injury firm that helped teach him many valuable skills for being a successful personal injury lawyer. His work at the firm also made him realize how rewarding a career in personal injury could be.
Joe’s intention was always to return home to Colorado. After graduating he and his family returned home. Joe eventually began work at the Sawaya Law Firm to continue his work in the personal injury field and help compensate individuals who were hurt by someone else’s actions. Joe has significant experience handling auto accident cases.
In his spare time Joe loves to watch sporting events, spend time with his family, and travel. Joe is also an avid supporter of the CSU Rams football team, and tries to make it their annual rivalry game with CU every year.
If you feel like you have a potential case in the Rocky Mountain Region feel free to contact Joe to see how he may help you.

I`m currently going through an interstate child custody case and needed an out of state lawyer to handle several issues in Colorado including a last minute court appeal in which I only had a very limited amount of time to address. I contacted Mr. Oliver and explained the situation before hiring him. He gave an extensive consultation on his own time explaining my options as well as course of action we could take. Upon hiring him he immediately addressed the issues with the court and ultimately got them resolved favorably on my behalf as well as dealings with my child`s mother`s lawyer in Colorado. He was prompt in returning my calls and my lawyer in my own state even gave him praise for returning calls and emails to him- he said within 10 minutes. It was a pleasure dealing with him and conversations were professional yet he is a down to earth guy that makes it seem like an everyday conversation with a friend. I`d highly recommend Justin Oliver to anyone looking for a lawyer.
I called Justin Oliver scared and not understanding what was happening and he took just a 30 min of his day and walked me through what was going to happen and eased my mind and helped with what I needed to do, I recommend Justin. I wish I would have talked to him in the beginning.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Justin: When this all started in August of last year, I felt like this day would never come. This entire process has felt like a lifetime to me, but at the same time I am so grateful you and Joe were by my side. I sincerely appreciate all your hard work and everything you have done for my boys and I. You and Joe were instrumental in providing me with a sense of peace during such a traumatic and arduous time of my life, I truly felt as if I were living any parents worst nightmare. I know we are not out the woods yet, my boys still have a lot of healing to do, but what you've accomplished will streamline their healing process. Thank you so much and take care.
